Gliders will often take in a bite of food, suck all the good stuff out and spit out little cressant moon shaped peices. This is normal and nothing to worry about.

I put pure peppermint escentual oil in a spray bottle with alcohol. I smash any ants and dispose of them then spray all around the area they were then around all doors and windows. this helps 100% ants rely on the smell to get back to where there is

I highly recommend crate training your pup. My Ada is the first dog I've ever had that is crate trained and it is such a blessing. Pit puppies LOVE to chew. Crate training can save your shoes, sofa, etc. Also really helps with the potty training.

It isn't so much as sterilizing the cage as it is washing it so that it has a neutral scent to it. That way it isn't one glider's or the other's but a cage they can both claim.
