Has anyone used the TGI wheel? Or have more info or feedback on it? I need a couple more wheels & wanted something different so I can alternate or have a different wheel in the tent. Currently I use Stealths. I was considering a Custom cruiser, but came accross the TGI Wheel. What is this wheel all about? Is it fast, smooth, bouncy, Quiet? I know knothing about it, but like how the wheel dismounts & the bearing assembly stays put. My stealths slowly but surely seem to build rust inside where the axle goes thru. My newer one I have kept pretty clean by using a handgun cleaning tool w/ the brush head(works great). I also like the price of the TGI wheel. Can anyone help me out?

The TGI wheel is designed to be smooth and quiet. One of the benefits is we make the bearing assembly removable (instructions are sent along with the wheel) for easy cleaning, so no rusting. They also come with a seamless track. We just started offering them in a variety of colors and options on the type of base. I do have several of these in my cages. My gliders love them. Hopefully others will come and give you their personal experience with them! (I'm kind of biased since we make them! )

I just got my first TGI wheels a few weeks ago. They are very well-made and I like the seamless track instead of the white plastic spacer that always has glider "stuff" on it. They are also great for travel, and would be a good tent-time wheel with the solid base. All this and cool colors too? What a deal!

Is it on your website? I don't see it in the store. You can find them on my site Here They are not on TGI's website; a portion of the sale of each wheel is donated to TGI.

Im liking what I hear(or see I geuss-LOL!), smooth & quiet & no rusting making soaking & cleaning easier. Im pretty sure I want to try one fo inside my cage, im assuming it sits on the bottom so I would want the PVC stand. Right?

Either stand will sit on the bottom of the cage - your choice! The solid one is heavier, so doesn't move quite as much. I secure all my wheels to the sides of my cages anyway, so for me the type of base doesn't matter. The PVC base has a cleaner appearance because the pee & poo falls through it, it lands on the solid base.

I have several TGI wheels and I am very happy with them. Some of my gliders are much happier with the semi-enclosed front and I'm happy that they are silent. I LOVE them for travel since the base is heavier and it helps hold down my travel cages. I think that they are a great value for the price.

What is the track part made of? Right now I have a Stealth Magnum because it had a coated wire track (both my girls are chewers). I'm needing to get another, smaller wheel to fit into a smaller temporary cage I have.

I have the travel size TGI wheel and my suggies love it. I use it when traveling and during playtime. It's a very good made wheel.

Well I have to tell you, my minchkins didnt get to try the new TGI wheel until last night. Yesterday was cage cleaning day. I took everything outside in the cold and scrubbed to like new condition(and new smell)lol. After the cage was clean I put the lil buggers back in there. When they woke up last night they had a completly different environment & most importantly A NEW WHEEL. Baggie has been neglecting the wheel, I think primarily because Mucee is on it non-stop! I got up from watching tv around 11pm because I heard movement. THEY WERE BOTH IN THE NEW WHEEL HAVING A BALL!! They shared all night. I am so happy. I give the TGI wheel 2 thumbs up. Thank you Shelly! I will be ordering a second one soon.
