Has anyone tried using stonyfield farms yogurt? It has inulin in it which according to their website can boost calcium absorption 22-58 percent, plus it's organic, and they have little sizes perfect for a double batch of BML. Does anyone know of any cons to using this?

I don't see why that would be a problem, I've never seen Stoneyfield farms yogurt here. I'll shoot this to Bourbon in an email and see what she might think. Chey

Opppps! The word was Inulin and not Insulin. Silly old me. Hmmmm. After reading the links you posted...Inulin sounds like it is pretty good stuff.

Kathy: Stonyfield Farm's site contains a STORE LOCATOR button you can click on. You can then choose from:
1) supermarkets 2) natural foods stores 3) wholesale clubs & specialty shops nationwide
Once you've made your choice, you are taken to another page where you can enter your zip code in order to find the closest location that carries their yogurt product.

My little guy LOVES it. I put her vitamins and all kinds of things in it and she just lapps it up. We do buy the Vanilla kind. It has a little sugar in it but not too much. I think.

sassymom97, I don't know what's going on with B at the time, but i haven't heard from her lately. But i can asnwer part of your question. Since the inulin is supposed to help with calcium absorption, it could prove dangerous in combination with BML, as it would cause the gliders to absorb more calcium they need, and too much calcium can be harmfull. Remember BML has a slight excess of calcium, to compensate for any phosphorus in the fruits and veggie part of our BML diet. Hope this made sense. That doesn't mean i consider it wrong to feed as an occasional treat. But i also think the inulin could become useful in situations where gliders are sick... Tanja

Ok, thanks, I wasn't planning on trying it without knowing B's thoughts, so that'll work!
