Hi I was just wondering if I could take mom, dad, 2 sons and 2 joeys that are 18 days oop shopping with me in a bonding pouch or would this be too stressful for mom? The weather`s getting warmer here in NY and I`m getting excited about being able to take them outside now . If it`s too stressful for mom then I`ll leave her home with dad and the joeys but I`ll just take my 4 month old boys out with me. Thanks for any help

I personally would wait until they are 3 weeks oop because the chances of mom rejecting them is more slim after 3 weeks. Also start with short trips, don't spend to much time out and then increase the time you take them.

OK, I may even wait a little longer than 3 weeks just to be on the safe side. I`ll leave them at home and just take my boys out for the time being. I`m so glad I decided to ask first. Thanks so much!

My little guys are oop on Moms day and I cannot wait to get them going...I have been taking them from mom for little bits at a time but just here in the house. BamBam only bit me once just after they were oop but has not even considered anyting since or at least not shown any aggresion since. I got my new sissy just before the Utah Gathering and have not dared take them out since then fear they would have problems. THis is their first time having babys. Twins...one boy one girl...and they look kind of like they might be white face...the girl looks really light in the face markings. I am going to get some pics done and send out to everyone and see what they think.

Saltnsugar, I`m going to make a bonding pouch big enough for all of them lol. I just really need it big enough for 4 of them really, the new joeys I will be selling when they`re old enough. I`m sure it`ll be one of the hardest things to do but I don`t have much choice. I`ll be making the pouch this weekend, I`m so excited!

i hope you dont think me a bad Glider Mommy, but I take Savannah and her joey with me in a pouch. I keep Savannah with me most of the time and when she has a joey OOP I take them together in a pouch with me once they are a couple weeks OOP. I know Savannah is really amazingly bonded to me, and even delivered all of her joeys IN my hand (I have photos) so she yells at me if Im home and I dont take her with me. When the joey is with us they go in a pouch, but when its just Savannah she lays on my chest. As for selling the joeys...the best of luck to you...I planned on, and had 3 people who wanted this joey, but so far every joey Savannah has had, I have, and I cant let them go, so we now have 3 girls, and Mama and Daddy.
