Do tent-time tents get smelly? How do you clean them?

Yes, they will get a little smelly eventually. You can wipe down the walls with Clorox wipes or a wash rag and some hot water.
If you place a sheet or large piece of fleece on the floor of the tent all you have to do take it out and run it throught the washing machine.

I throw my tent in the washer and dryer without any problems.

I use Clorox wipes and it does just fine. No smell at all.

Jen, what kind of tent do you have that you can throw it in the washer??? Is it a normal tent? I usually do the Clorox wipes too. I keep them in the pocket of the tent and before I get out I just wipe it all down on my way out. Seems to work fine. Plus, I let my bunny get in there to have some hop time out of his cage too and he's a slob....LOL

Jen - Im curious what kind of tent you use too! All of the ones I have looked at online are not washer/dryer proof.

The tent I have is an Ozark Trail junior dome tent (which sleeps 1-2 people) that I got at Wal-Mart. I just absently threw the tent into the washer without a second thought, lol and then put it in the dryer. I was happy to find that it came out great! No problems at all! FYI, I zipped the screen up but left the outer shell door open when I washed the tent.
I hope this helps.
