today, I had my two joeys out, and my mom and I were having a nice laugh watching them hop around on her bed (which is attached to a dresser like thing, that has wires attached, which hooks up the lighting) and the male joey, who I named Mac, started following the wires (I didn't see him) and all of a sudden, my mom and I hear a *clunk* noise from him falling, and a biting noise, from him knawing on the wires! I freaked out that second, and searched frantically for him, but he wasn't where I left him, and then I knew he had managed to go through this small hole, and followed the wires down the large dressor, and was trapped inside! My mom and I searched for openings, while I dreaded the worst. All I can say, is that I am luckier then so many others (most of these types of bed dressors, do not have a place to get into the wired lightings, but thankfully, all I had to do, was take off the mattress, and squeeze my hand inside to get him)
Thankfully no gliders were hurt, and they are both resting with their mum! I just can't tell you guys how dangerous it could have been, if there would have been no way of getting to him. A joey not yet weaned, alone, is a really serious thing.
Be careful! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Such a precious pic <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/muchlove.gif" alt="" /> Thank goodness you were able to get to him before he chomped that wire again! Dangers to these wee ones seem to lurk everywhere, eh?! So glad all is well...... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> thank you! Both he and his sister are just adorable, but they look totally different, even people who aren't familiar with gliders can tell Mac and Sasha apart! It's weird <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
I am just so glad I was able to get him back!
cause it was a close one!
