Hi, just wondering if having "me" in the tent is really necessary. I hurt my leg and hip and am having a hard time getting down that low, let alone getting out of the tent. Lol! I have been putting them in the tent for playtime, and I will sit in a chair and talk to them. I also wear them on me for a few hours a day petting them from time to time. I just don't want them to be neglected and me not know it. smile If it is necessary for me to be in the tent, I will try to figure out an alternative. I don't know what is wrong with my leg, every time I think it is getting better, I find out otherwise. frown

Put the tent up on the bed! LOL I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I love it when I put mine on the bed!

clear out a closet, put a chair in the closet and have tent time in there till your better. just be careful you use a flashlight rather then a lamp so they dont jump onto an exposed bulb and possibly burn themselves

I think until your leg is better you are doing the best you can. You can try putting the tent on the bed, like Ash suggested, if you can that might help you get in and out easier.

You can glider proof your bathroom! If so please don't forget gliders can NOT swim. Here is a link!

My hubby has a bad knee so it is really hard for him. :fall: We got a bigger tent that has larger doors. One's that size you could sit in the chair inside the tent. Hope I have been some help! :gluck:

Actually, gliders CAN swim...the problem is getting OUT of toilets. Always close the lid and a good idea is to have a toilet ladder, as well. thumb

The tent on the bed is a great idea!

You can easily glider proof your bathrom, do bathroom time instead, I honestly think its better cuz I can interact more with him in there.

I am having knee problems, and I set up my tent on the bed. Works great!

If you can't make it work any other way, then it is perfectly fine to leave your gliders in the tent without you. You are not neglecting them. They are getting out of cage time still, so no worries there.

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Man, you women are falling apart! Just teasing. The tent on the bed sounds like a good idea. Maybe you should have that leg looked at?

Wow, there is no way my tent would fit on my bed! Either I have a really big tent or a really small bed!roflmao If you can't get in the tent and would like some play time with them, I would set some stuff up in the bathroom after you glider proof it.

I've passed that 40 mark. Only real issue was my vision. (used to have fantastic vision).

Tent on the bed is the way to go. I have a king size bed and my tent is actually just a wee bit to big so it hangs off each side a little but we make it work.
