Anyone know how to make a glider food station for Reptariums? I have tried many MANY different types of setups; trying to find a place for a waterbottle and food dishes in a reptarium. All of which include wobbly/crooked waterbottles and food dishes on the floor of the cage (nice little poops in the dishes in the morn').

I have thought of tier type thing. Kinda like a hanging wedding cake . . . someone just sold a "Glider Oasis" on suggie bay that resembles what I'm thinking of.

Using the plastic mesh you may have a place to hang the bottle from. And in the middle, places to put food dishes . . . has anyone made anything like this? Is anyone interested in making one?

I'm a total disaster when it comes to making crafts, so I know taking it on, on my own would be a catastrophy. Anyone interested in taking on a project?

Anyone have better idea's for a food station in a reptaruim? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I *think* someone on here made water bottle holders for repts at one point. Hmmm maybe I can find the link.

I have a few reptariums that I use as travel cages and for emergencies. I happened to have some extra pvc-coated wire from Klubertanz and I bent the wire to fit over the three sides of the pipes, like a shelf. Viola! A feeding station! Worked wonderfully!

Another thing you can do is get two suet feeders for birds and attach them together with zip ties. You then attach the feeders to your rept and have a feeding station. I'll attach a photo.

For the water bottle you can use a hanging water bottle found at most pet stores. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />

I have managed to get an awesome way to do the water bottle...Attached is a photo of the inside of the rep. The water bottle is held up with elastic band. The spout is placed in a large eyelet placed on the reptarium.

If you do it, it is important that you put it in the corner of the reptarium to prevent it from being shifted when the gliders hop on to the side causing it to leak.

Another way we do it, is a water bottle holder that can be tied onto the frame. I make one that includes a window so you can se the water level without having to take the waterbottle down. The problem with this is, some gliders will chew at the waterbottle causing it to leak. I tried makeing an all fleece one but they would just bit through it as well. I think out of all my gliders, only 2 didn't chew their water bottles....

As for a food, we place dishes on a hanging platfrom. Here is a link to the ones we use....
