I am confused about how and when to use Glideraid. I assumed you use it several times a week because it is a vitamin supp. Am i wrong? There are no real instructions, other than how to mix. Did i spend money foolishly (AGAIN)? I really need a pro's help on this.

It's a nectar - not really a necessity, but the glider's love it. I feed about 3-4 times a week. It also is nice to have on-hand in case they get dehydrated - sometimes they'll drink Glideraide over water or pedialyte. Also, if there's a new food that you want them to try, you can sprinkle a little of the powder on it & it might get them to taste it where they ordinarily wouldn't. It's how I get mine to eat carrots - LOL!

Gliderade is made by the company, Avico and can be found on many websites that members on this forum run such as: www.suzsugargliders.comwww.exoticnutrition.comJust to name a couple. It will usually run about $20.00 per jar and the jar if refrigerated will last a very very long time.

It is also used for contipation. If given too often your glider will get soft or runny stools. It's a great treat but too often and you will have the runny stools for a day or two. I use it mostly for contipation or to rehydrate. But I don't think a couple of times of week would hurt.
Love and kindness is a gift. Use it freely.... My Gallery
