nope- haven't picked one out yet- hoping to be able to soon, though. these guys arent't just the impulse buy I'd imagined they would be at first, and, in retrospect, I'm glad. I'm happy to learn all I can about them first- I'd hate to have a poor joey or two committed to me if I couldn't support them properly!
Do you have a specific SLC breeder in mind? And if you have one picked out, please let me know why you chose them?

Actually, I am getting my male joey from Stephanie at Perfect Form Gliders. She's having problems with her web host, and looks like her site is still down today. But, her web address is PerfectFormGliders.com. She's actually out of Las Vegas, I will be meeting her in Cedar City next weekend to pick my joey up.

I chose her for a couple of reasons. First, I drooled over every baby in her gallery. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

Secondly, she was very patient, and answered all my questions. I just liked her from the start.

I'm still looking to get my female, and I may get her from Perfect Form Gliders, also. But if I don't then what I will be looking for is a breeder who checks me out to make sure I'm a fit glider parent - that will tell me that they really care about these guys. Of course, I want to know that they are using a proper diet, also. There are 4 breeders in the SLC area that I know of, and probably more that just have a joey or two, but aren't considered breeders.

I know what you mean about the impulse buy, though. I was in the mall and saw them and fell in love. I knew talking my boyfriend into it would be tough, so I started researching, and I am soooooooo glad I did! I've learned things that make me want gliders even more, and I've learned things that will make me a whole lot more ready to take care of them.

And yeah, GC's been a lifesaver for me- I don't even know how my glider-parenting would have turned out if I hadn't found this site- I can actually be more enthusiastic than terrified when I think about bringing a joey or two home now!
Oh, yeah, and where's Cedar City? I just moved here a little over a year ago, so I'm not very familiar with surrounding areas yet- still a bit directionally challenged, lol. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Cedar City is down south, almost to St. George. MapQuest told me it's a 4 hr drive, though a friend told me it's 3. So somewhere between 3 and 4 hours drive. hehe

I've been in Utah about 10 years, and I still sometimes have to ask if Provo is north or south, and I thought Cedar City was tons closer, until asking my boyfriend if we could go. lol

Wheee! Getting ready to start constructing the glider cage tonight, and I've also been getting toys, braches, pouches, and other things ready for the big day- whenever that is, lol.
As soon as everything's put together, I'll try to post a pic of it on here somewhere.

I ordered them from SunCoast. After doing weeks of reading, it seemed like one of the best places to order from.
