Not sure, have you tried having it later in the evening?

My girls have been doing the same thing. I think they just want to sleep, so I am going to have tent time later in the evening.

you can also find ways to distract and entice them into playing when they first come out of their pouch. feathers work well with my girls.
some may disagree with my methods, but I wanted to be able to play with them before I went to bed, and I have to get up early for work...
so, i take my girls out around 830 and just give them a little snack of BML that i let them lick on my fingers. they go back to sleep after theyve had enough and then around 1030 I bring them into the tent, whether they are awake or not. once i started on this schedule and stuck to it, they now are pretty much expecting the 830 snack (although if im not home in time, they sleep through it no problem) and are up and about between 1030 and 11 on their own. last night, for example, i had to work late and then had an emergency run to the store to look for a space heater. by the time i got around to getting their food ready it was about 1030, and as soon as i opened their cage door their little heads popped out, ready to go. had to skip the snack though, and just went to tent time with extra healthy treats.
depending on what time they "normally" wake up on their own, you can try waking them up for play 15-20 min earlier for a few nights, and then another 15 or so minutes earlier and so on until they are used to the schedule that works best for both of you.
