Hey... I've been referred to this site by the lady I am hoping to adopt baby gliders from. She spoke very highly of this little community of sugar glider lovers. I'm very new to all of this, so any tips will be so much appreciated. I want my little buddies to have the best experience possible. My boyfriend and I are so excited to meet some of these little guys/girlies for the first time. Please, feel free to share any important info.. Thank you soo soo much.

Congrats on your upcoming addition! There is so much important info (much of which your breeder should be able to assist you with).

Major things, get them on a good diet, keep them in pairs, have a nice large cage with plenty of enriching toys, cage sets, foraging toys, and a glider-safe wheel. Give them time to adjust to their new home, then be very patient with the bonding process. Oh - and have a vet and a 24-hour emergency vet lined up!

Brandy is about 4 hrs away from Shan and I and there is a strong probability she will be adopting from us!
She will be coming to our house in a few Weeks to get to interact with some of our fuzzies...and learn some more. She is extremely eager to learn proper care of Gliders, and when I was on the phone with her...she was taking notes! (it was adorable) I couldn't ask for a better potential first time owner, and I feel she/they will make wonderful glider parents! If all goes well, and her and her boyfriend still feel Gliders are a good pet for them...they will be adopting from us!
I asked Brandy to come on here, and have a look around...and introduce herself!
