Ok, here's the scoop , and yesterday's pictures... It's now been almost a week since the small Euc trees were cut down. Since the leaves are still on their branches, and theoretically still getting water from their branch, MOST of the leaves are still fresh and supple, so I'll continue the sale, if you want some. (if you're not happy with 'em, let me know and I'll ddoouubbllee your next order, too). The mature, banana-shaped leaves often stay fresh for 2-4 weeks... and many gliders Prefer the leaves after they dry. But also remember that you can FREEZE the leaves as soon as you get them, and when you take them out of the freezer weeks or Months later, they look, and smell, Exactly the same as they did! So, if you missed the sale, and still want DDOOUUBBLLEE your order of these beautiful, long, green leaves, let me know ASAP! Pics of Euc Banana Leaves: http://www.photobucket.com/EucBananaLeaves

GOOD NEWS! Yesterday, we had to cut some more Euc trees down to 'thin' them out... so we have gobs of the most beautiful fresh leaves again, that I cannot usually reach. Therefore, the DDOOUUBBLLEE Leaves sale is back on for this weekend only! From now thru Sunday, 7/8, any order with Leaves (fresh or dried!) will get DOUBLE the amount of leaves ordered, for free. Pics of beautiful, mature Euc Banana Leaves: http://www.photobucket.com/EucBananaLeavesRemember to let me know you saw this announcement on GC and want the extra leaves. Thanks. Last chance. - Matt

How do you feed the leaves and branches? Do you put them in a toy or just in the cage somewhere?

I put mine in their ball pit/toy box. I also hung some up, but I don't have pics of that. They seemed more interested in it when it was in an easy spot to get to.

I just put the branches and leaves in the cage and they chew away. Mine are chewers and I have not had them try to nest with it yet. Their pouches are empty. I am getting some seeds to try my hand at growing one and pruning it in early spring so it stays bush size. Gotta get a little pot to start it out in the house.

Have you ever tried dried Euc leaves for your gliders... many prefer their Euc leaves after they've dried! In addition to giving 'em to your little friends, they can be used: - In Potpourri - Boiled for medicinal and aroma - In a steam room or sauna - Deter fleas from dogs and cats - When you vacuum in your house, suck up the crushed leaves first and the whole house will smell grand! Only $5.95 for a big gallon-bag full. Try some! http://www.eucproducts.com/leaves.html (at bottom of page) Enjoy! - Matt

It was windy here yesterday, and as I drove up our road, I was inundated with the fresh, sweet smell of Eucalyptus! I inhaled hard, a few times, trying to anchor that scent, and that feeling, within me. =:^)Wanna try some? - Matt

Did you know that ordering Euc BRANCHES is your best deal for the price (IMHO)? With Euc branches, you get all the Eucs that gliders love -- leaves, chew sticks, bark and thicker branches -- all together. Plus, they're more "interesting" for you and more fun for your gliders to climb on, chew on, and play on! Try some (custom branch sizes are welcome). - Matt

Matt, I have once again gone to your website pondering what to purchase. I have realized that my frustration is that I want everything. I can tell you that I would love perches for the cages, but I don't want to get 12 months of large sticks. I also don't want 12 months of chew sticks, or 12 months of leaves. I want it all! As a result, I am recommending that you offer a new product. In your monthly subscription service, you should have a listing for the item of the month. For example, people can order the 1/2 pound, 1 pound, 2 pound, or 5 pound item of the month package. Each month would be a bit different. One month may offer large perch branches. Another may have mainly fresh leaves, another month may be chew sticks, another month may have some dried leaves, perhaps another month would have sticks with harder bark. The months could be unique combo packs or focus on a specific item. Each month would be a bit different and a surpise for both the purchaser and the sugar gliders. I think that my idea is so great, that I should get a double order my first month when I order this subscription. SugarMama467

I haven't even tried any of this, but now & then read about, check out website and then end up not ordering anything. I'm hoping the next time I visit the website I am able to choose something and order it.

I only have two gliders, if I get the starter pack, can I freeze with a foodsaver some of it and keep it longer? Thanks!

Just received my starter pack of Eucalyptus from Matt. Smells so good. Babies are sleeping though, so they don't even know I have a surprise for them yet! lol I sent Matt an email, but if anyone here knows. Can I use the foodsaver to freeze the extras? I don't think we'll use these soon enough and want them to stay fresh. I got the branches, leaves and chew sticks

The lifespan of fresh Euc leaves can be extended by keeping 0them: - cool - rehydrated by soaking, once a week or so - in the freezer. Here are our Euc Care Instructions (and tips): Euc care instructions: http://www.eucproducts.com/docs/eucalyptus-care-instructions-eucproducts.pdfBest wishes, always. - Matt
