I was just sent a free tub of Glider Greens, basically a tub of grow your own wheat grass. Is it of any benefit diet wise? Or is it just something fun for them to shed or throw around. It says it is a safe altenative to house plants. I have never fed house plants though so.... I found a couple of threads that talked about something similar: Nothing like a nice bowl of Grass??? yay or nay?

Like said in one of the posts that you linked I think the fact that it is in a pot with soil will pose some problems. You would need to know that the soil used to grow the grass is organic and such. I wasn't able to find a nutritional breakdown for actual 'grass' but did find this if it helps any: Nutritional Analysis.

At least yours did something with it Suz! I waited a WHOLE WEEK for the grass to grow....when it did, I put it in the cage & they just looked at it like "what we supposed to do with THAT, mom?" I wrote Brisky's to not waste the extra postage on sending me any more.....the CATS wouldn't even chew on it (and they'll chew on ANYTHING!)

I got one of those once and grew it to about 5 or 6 inches tall. I just cut off a handful and put it in the cage on a shelf and they loved it! They would eat it, play with it, etc. I also gave some away to other glider owners to try and thier gliders loved it too! I've never ordered one, but if they sent me one again, I would grow it for my kids!

Hey, what about spouts? Are those safe for gliders? They are easy to grow.

LOL Becci you wanna come over and play with all the new stuff I have?.... I mean what I will have to sell, I have to keep reminding myself it's not all for me. I mean not all for my gliders. Oh heck I admit it, I sit at home and play with toys all day!!!! Starting out it will be an online store just for the Sugar Gliders and eventually when we shift some things around a by appointment only store and if it all goes well I might start selling stuff for a few of my other favorite critters! But that's so I better be quiet now! Back on topic I'll show you my grass, when you come over!!! I'm not to sure about the sprouts
