I've never seen them do that exactly, I know they make different sounds but never noticed teeth chattering. Hopefully someone who can help you will log on and answer your question shortly.

Usually, if I have one glider out of pouch for a while & go to put him back with the other in pouch, my youngest (less- bonded) glider will chatter his teeth. But he isn't aggressive toward me or the other glider. It's weird lol
