My babies, 2 years old, have never attacked anyone. They aren't even pouch protective. They were out playing last night and my friend and her 10 year old daughter were in the room with me and bugsey went right for their face and attacked them. We did have skin so soft bug spray on, but the didn't act like that to me. These guys are out everyday, and very friendly. Anyone have this happen before.

I've personally never experienced that with my gliders. Was this the first time the gliders had met your friends? Maybe they felt threatened. dunno

Do your friends have other pets? Perhaps they smelled like a predator?

Once I was at a friends house and pet her groundhog. I washed my hands but did a last goodbye pet and went home and tried to pet my gliders and one of my boys bit the crap out of my finger (he is not a biter at all). I didn't even think about that last pet til he did that...so there had to be some strange scent on her maybe.

They have dogs, but they wer here two weeks ago and we sat in their room and played with them. My friends were here all day. He attacked their face not hands. Only thing I can think of was bug spray...but I had it on me too, and he didn't attack me.
He meets lots of strangers and only got upset when someone comes at him fast. My friends were just sitting.

What did the attack look like? Maybe it was "just" a face hug? They can be pretty painful, and if you try to get them off your face, they dig their claws in ...

It happened to me! My girlfriend came over and Gustav (5years old and knows better) jumped right in her face. I figured it's the make up she was wearing or the moisturizer cream. I would't call it an "attack" though.
