I think I'm leaning more towards building a bigger cage for my suggie babies than buying one. Can you guys give me some pros and cons as to building my own cage?
As well as give me some ideas as to what patterns to follow, I would also love if you guys could show me pictures of cages you have built.
Thanks in advance!

I used to have instructions on my website to build a PVC Cage with landware cloth. It appears that the other site with these is no longer a valid site. The pro's - you can build it whatever size you'd like
- it is cost effective
The con's - if you have aggressive chewers, they may be able to get out
- after a couple of years, the plastic holds odor
- drop trays may be difficult to get in the size you build (tip - purchase a tray and build the cage to fit the tray)

What you need is the plastic hardware cloth for building a cage. It is sold at Lowe's and Home Depot in the garden section of the store. It is a very sturdy black plastic mesh with 1/2 inch openings.
