I am about to make some new pouches for my trio. We have joeys now so this could fluctuate between 3 and 7 gliders if my girls both have joeys on the hip at the same time. What size should I make them? They look like a happy ball of glider in a normal size pouch, so I didn't know if they would want more space or not. I'm wondering how many inches other people with trios make them.

My "normal" pouches are 10" wide, 9" high, with a 3" boxed corner bottom. With a trio, and having the possibility of so many in at one time, I would highly suggest solid bottom pouches. That will help prevent the potential of suffocation (which has occurred before).

My current pouches are only 8"x9". Definitely need to upgrade now. How is a solid bottom pouch made? What is the bottom made of? Should I switch back to normal pouches when there are not joeys? Thanks for the quick response.

I may need to buy the first one and reverse engineer it. lol. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around a design. I usually have hidden seams except for a small part that I leave to pull it inside out. The way I'm picturing it, I think I will have a seam that I can't hide around the floor either way. If I do an insert I can hide the seam on 3 sides, but I got to be able to put the plastic in after flipping inside out so one whole edge of the insert would be a "normal" seam. That seams like it'd be pretty easy to keep an eye on though. If I include it in between the layers of the pouch, I will likely need about 4 little "normal" seam patches on the edges where the floor meets the wall to keep it from moving. I'm thinking I might go with the insert but idk. Thanks for the input.
