Yes, you can post the link for the cage so we can help you decide if it is glider safe.

The size is only 20 x 12.5 x 15 inches.

It would be OK for use in the car to hang their sleeping pouches in but is probably too small to keep them in for several days while you are on a vacation.

Many folks use the mesh pop up dog kennels for vacation cages.

Candy, I like the Kennel canvasdog crate you provided the link to, But how do provide water for a glider in them? I was told to use water bottles in my cage ( I prefer silos, Because bottles tend to clog)

I prefer silos as well and I was able to rig it when I was using a Pocket Pets cage for my vacation cage. I ended up getting a third glider and so I had a custom Glide-arium made that was slightly larger to offer a little more space (I wish I had gone even larger, but was planning to use in popup camper and had limited space). Anyway, with soft sided enclosures as such the Glide-ariums, you have a pvc frame that can hold "cage sets" so to speak, with a water bottle holder specific for hanging from and ways to rig fleece vines across for various toys. Some people who use the popup kennels make a custom pvc frame for inside for the same purpose, and therefor can use the same such set up.

But, as I said, I like silos better (too), and I didn't want to have to do without using them when on trips, so I set this up for travel time in my Glide-arium and it could probably work in the pop up kennel as well.

Now, I was super lucky because this came with my boy (third glider) I homed, so I didn't have to purchase it.

Now of course I had added more toys and such to the vacation cage, and I also changed the way I kept the door open (in photo above there is fleece to prevent it from closing all the way, locking suggies in or out of the travel cage, also I used c-links to old the lid up). I ended up tucking the door down into the cage portion, but do not of photos of it.

Another option: (I had used these before I intro'd Ollie to the girls so he could have his HPW and water in a silo).
You can make a glider diner and see where the silo will sit, create a hole in the top for the silo to fit through and it will help hold it in place. I'm having trouble finding a photo to show you, I thought I had one of it. If or when I find it, I'll try to get it up here for you.

I also once had a small bird cage and I had saved some parts to use for whatever I could come up with, this is part of the roof:

I have it upside down, you can't see the silo in this photo, but you can see the bird-style feeding cup attached, the silo is attached on the other side, but it's not showing in photo, sorry. This works, but is messy cleanup.

Bonus photo, because I came across it looking through my pics and it just makes me smile every time I see it.

Shelly, GliderNursery makes them but she temporarily closed her store. It takes a while to get them because they are handmade by her.

A small transport cage should work in the pop up kennel though.

I've been looking but I haven't been able to find one like the one I have. I'll keep trying and see, if I find anything I'll link it on this thread.

Most of what I've found has bar spacing that either has too large or very small (safe but I don't know silo would fit).

I just went to take a quick look again, and saw this one
Ware

It does have 1/2" bar spacing, they are horizontal, but silos can be rigged on those, just not attached the normal way.

I'll continue looking throughout the weekend, when I can.

The one I use for transport as well as inside my Glide-arium setup, I'm not sure it's powder-coated either, it came with my Ollie boy, so I didn't purchase it. I don't know where it came from or how much it cost.

Just remember that the transport cage isn't meant to be for the entire trip, it can be used for transport and then as a structure inside your enclosure, the pop up kennel. You will need room to place things outside the cage as well, so they're not as limited to the confined space. It doesn't need to be that large that it takes up too much space in the enclosure. I use mine as a place to secure the food mostly, for travel I also hang a pouch inside for them to sleep in for longer car rides.

Note that I have room for the travel wheel along with the transport cage when my vacation cage is used horizontally.

If you choose a small cage, usually sold for birds or small pets like hamsters, at a pet store it will either be powder coated or epoxy coated wire.

Both are safe for sugar gliders.

The major difference is the epoxy coating is essentially paint and it will not last as long as the powder coating we usually recommend for glider's primary housing.

For the main cage you are looking for a large size and durability of the powder coating that will make the cage last for years, not months.

A travel cage will not get the same wear and tear as your gliders permanent home cage so the epoxy finish is just fine.

I use a small 1 foot cube size cage for travel so I can hang their sleeping pouch. I carefully put the seat belt through the cage wires to buckle it in place. This is also the cage I use on cleaning day - the gliders sleep in it while I am hosing down their cage out side. It is helpful to have a small cage on hand for travel, cage cleaning or any time you need to separate gliders due to fighting or for medical reasons.

If you can get the bowl portion of the silo through (even if it's really tight), you can secure it. I recommend using the "reusable" zip ties.

Using a "reusable" zip tie to secure silo onto the PP cage, you could probably do similar.
