The mesh I think you might be talking about is called plastic hardware cloth. Like this from Home Depot You could actually cut strips the size to cover the the openings of the baseboard heater openings and use magnetic tape attached to the netting and place over the heater. But I wouldn't leave that on there all the time. I used to use a fleece throw to cover over my baseboard heater in my bathroom for during out of cage play only, and so had supervision to make sure not overheated. If you want something more permanent to cover, look into metal mesh for the heaters only, not for wall coverage. As for the walls, I'm not sure the best way to attach it, maybe use velcro strips so it can be removed for cleaning. I'm not sure about the furniture.
