Some gliders pay attention to a mirror and some do not. Simply depends on the glider, but mirrors are not a substitute for a companion
If you intend to keep a single glider, then you must be prepared to spend much more time with him/her than you would a pair ... much more.

I have often wondered that too as my two go for the medicine cabinet mirror. They will bark, crab, mark and sniff it. And just curious.
Maybe a plastic one, or just have one at tent time?
My only concern is if it can be safe and not break.

Usually, if it's not and interactive toy, it won't keep their intrest long. Foraging toys are best. Ones that you can put a small treat in and they can work at getting it out. I often hide tiny treats in a small bottle, easteregg, toothbrush cover, or a tic tac or breathsavors puck. Be sure to wash them thouthroughly. Have you considered getting your little one a friend? How is your bonding going? I know it's off topic, but just curious.
