Hi, I'm new here and a new owner to 2 five month old gliders. I did research a year ago and then had to put getting gliders aside, but things fell into place last Sunday and happened very quickly. I'm not sure yet if I have boys or girls, they won't let me pick them up yet and I am desperately trying to find an easy way to tell them apart!! Feel like I'm on an exciting new journey and can't wait until they really get to know and bond with myself and my teenagers, but we are taking it slow. Any bonding suggestions would be helpful!!

Nice to see someone on here that lives so close! I'm in Colonie! Are you getting your gliders from a breeder? Have you figured out diet, a cage, toys, pouches, etc? You can click on the highlighted words for more information on them.

I've had Mika for 2 and a half months and I love her to pieces. Also, this site has been very helpful and I've gotten so much valuable information! smile

As far as telling them apart, look for things like one having a wider or narrower strip than the other, a subtle difference in the stripe, bigger ears, or their personalities.

There are differences, but sometimes they are so subtle that they are hard to see.

Take a pic of them together. That way you can look at them in a still and look for differences.

Great idea. Just be sure to get their bellies so you can pick out the female if you have one rofl

Glider 1 is a boy, glider 2 looks like a girl.

To tell if the little boy is neutered, gently feel for two little bb's in the scrotum, if it feels flat/deflated then he is neutered with the pom on.
