I have a lone male sugar glider who has been making this noise. He only seems to do it when I'm in bed or out of the room. I though maybe it could be something to do with a UTI but when I watch him pee he makes no noise. I also have a lone female on the other side of my room when she's older she's to be his cage mate. Is it a mating call to her?

I've heard that noise from both of my gliders before, and it's just part of their usual vocalizations as far as I can tell. It doesn't sound distressed like crabbing, so maybe just a little chatter while grooming?

He is crying. He wants his buddy. How old is she? Is he neutered?

He's neutered and she's only over 4 months old.

When do you plan to start intros?

I'll probably start introducing when the female gets a bit bigger. I'll start scent swapping soon though.

My male makes that sound while in his pouch. He dose it when he is all curled up two. He seemed happy so I thought it was a happy sound or a relaxing sound and he is not alone.
