Gremlins are good as long as I don't feed them after midnight or add water.
We spent some time today playing the Sugar Glider version of Wack-A-Mole. I hold an XL yoggie above their pouch, a head pops up to snag it, & it dives right back down. Even when you think they might be napping, the game is always on, hehehe... I'm living that " don't add water" nightmare... But with only one of my three... I was warned her meds might change her personality... Oh boy did it last night... But she's healing, I hope it's temporary...

Obviously you are under the mistaken opinion that YOU are in charge of the schedule. It's just a small mistake on your part which they will correct shortly

So, once you quoted me, watching both gifs is a bit mind blowing! Glad you liked it!!! The Round Table needs new toys! Get some army men, dinosaurs, ping pong balls and a sturdy box or tray that has holes or slots at the Dollar tree. Zip tie it to the back or side half way up in the cage. Add the bracelets a few blankies and fleece pom-poms I sent you ages ago.

Oh, they have plenty of toys... just not enough out-of-cage time. Arthur was being extremely crabby, so I thought it was about time to fix that. I opened the cage door & hung back to let them have some supervised roaming time. I was trying to give them some of that today: Gywn & Morgana kept making bee-lines for the treat container. Merlin jumped to the floor & scurried under my table... then proceeded to have a seizure. While crawling to the back corner to take care of Merlin, the girls manage to OPEN the treat container & start stuffing themselves. I carefully pry Merlin loose from the carpet & crawl back from under the table to discover why the miscreants had become quiet. So, Merlin cupped in one hand recovering while I proceed to try & get the girls back in the cage so I can focus, & Arthur continuing to crab every time the cage is jostled or one of the girls comes near the pouch. I finally get the two twerps back in & the cage closed (oh, 10 minutes of 'catch the glider' later), grab a few treats, & continue to pets Merlin until he feels good enough to eat them. I let him ride on my shoulder for quite a while afterward before trying to return him. This whole time Arthur has continued to be a royal git. After Merlin plays hard to get (seriously, can ANYBODY reach that spot between their shoulderblades???) & I get him into the cage, my poor boy just wants a nap. As soon as he sticks his face in the opening, Arthur lunges are him, scaring him off. I decide I've had enough of Arthur tonight. He wants to be pouch protective? He may keep it all to himself. I've taken the pouch with him in it out of the main cage & put him in the travel cage with a bottle of water, a fluffball for a toy, & a portion of banana. At first he was thrilled about the banana... but once he figured out it was just him, he has not been a happy camper. Its been a little over an hour & I'll probably keep him in time out for another hour before returning him to the main cage. Partially because the other three are also upset at him being taken out. Temporary timeouts have helped in the past. I hope this one does as well. Note to self: TRIM THOSE TALONS!!! Must be time to replace the sandpaper on the wheels.

Arthur has been back in the cage about 30min now & it has been quieter. I didn't return the pouch he'd been hoarding, instead putting a new one in (I always have two available). I put the rest of the banana in the big cage (& what was left of his portion) & everyone seems happy. After some time on the wheel, rather than go to the new pouch the other three were investigating, Arthur decided he still wanted to be alone & went to the pouch the colony hadn't been using before. I've kept an eye out & he'll grump if one of the other three jumps on the pouch & stick their head in to check on him, but otherwise seems his normal self. Gwynevere, Morgana, & Merlin seem to prefer the newest pouch I just put into the cage, with Morgana & Merlin in their now ( sounds like they're grooming). Gwyn is trying to overheat the bearing on their wheel. I'll leave the room & keep an ear out to see if it stays quiet. I'll also check on their sleeping arrangements before going to bed (if they're not out bouncing around). Fingers crossed it remains peaceful as I would really hate to feel the need to separate him for the night.
