Im having trouble finding a decent tent that is a popup and fold down. I have about 8x4ft usable space. Would prefer one I can watch tv thru if they decide to sleep.

Anyone found a good one lately that is not a bazillion dollars?

Oh also I'm a 6' 200lb man so take that in account.

I'd have no problem with them running my room but they don't really interact and my dresser is an issue as they try to bed down in there.

So this is popular these days:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07BCD3TM9/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This one is what I would choose if I didn't already have one:

https://www.amazon.com/Viva-Active-...y&sprefix=+pop+up+screen&sr=8-12

Having said that, mine(they don't make anymore) will sit on the floor or on the bed both at home and it our 5th wheel bed.

It's a Genji popup tent. It's an old style....

My length is maybe 8 feet long but I only have 50" width to use and that's not including the ability to get into the thing so hoping the opening is at the end.

Thanks though. Would be a great option if I had the space.

Ah but Amazon catches on eventually. Based on your link they showed me this.

https://www.amazon.com/Mosquito-Automatic-Self-expanding-Traveling-Backpacking/dp/B07643DW59

Which appears to be perfect.

Edit:

And I'm an impulse buyer so immediately ordered. Luckily I have Prime so I can return anything for like a month.

My concern with that tent would be height. I prefer to sit up when playing but sometimes I lay down and that looks ideal if that if your preferred stance.

I think I can sit up and have space. I don't have great posture anyway. Was kinda thinking of getting one of those chair back things to lean on. Like the ones you use for beds and looks like the back of a recliner.

Ok so this one is supposed to be 5" taller so I ordered that one too. I'll compare and give my thoughts.

Hi, I have the last link you shared. It does open on the side but is flexible so should be no problem in and out. It has plenty of room for the bedrest/backrest you intend to use. I hang things in mine as it is difficult for them to climb the slick part. They perch on my head and jump to the screen though.

And according to the pictures... you can leave you baby unattended, throw your cat in there, drive around with it on top of your jeep.... (sarcasm intended)

Awesome!!!! I find some of my best stuff in the sidelines of Amazon! I was hoping that tent tagged along. It is also popular, but I haven't seen one before and wasn't sure how tall it was.

Thanks Claralice for your input. I've never known anyone who had one.

I think it even has reviews from glider owners too.

I didn't even look at the reviews, but yeah if you filter it there are 6 q&a and 17 reviews about gliders.

So I returned both tents to Amazon that I linked. I just ordered this one that fits my dimensions and has way more room.

I'm not going to use the cover but the mesh tent is perfect size. And full visibility so I can watch sci-fi at an epic pace.
