Hello everyone I'm the new guy. Last month we got 3 suggies, one was preggo and had twins. As of lately I am not seeing them come out of there sleeping pouch as much, and haven't seen the moma or the babies in a week or so. There is one suggie that let's me somewhat play with him but you can say we're taking it slow. I was hoping he would tell his friends in not a bad guy, but guess he is keeping the treat secret to himself. My concern is just then staying in the pouch so much. I want to change it out and get it washed but if I mess with it they scream bloody murder. What am I doing wrong here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do they come out to eat? Do you give them time with little or no light?

You need to open the pouch with the mom and babies inside to check and make sure they are alright. Not having seen them in a week is concerning.

Have you at least heard noises coming from the pouch? Make sure the joeys are okay.

The male you are talking about should be the dad, I suppose, but he should be giving mom some breaks so she can eat and have some time away from the joeys.

Let us know all is okay with mom and babes.

Definitely check in even if they crab while you do it. Crabbing sounds intimidating but it is not the precursor to an attack.

So I got them out of the sleeping pouch and everyone seems fine, the babies are getting soo big. Guess they was just comfy and only came out when I was gone.

Hang the clean pouch where the dirty pouch is and lay the dirty pouch on the floor of the cage. They should move into the clean pouch on their own. If only half move into the clean pouch then go ahead and put the others in the clean pouch.
