Im still trying to find a local glider to get, but its tough in california as some might know.

PS, I found a loop hole in California's system for LA County residence... Apply for a 'wild animal' permit... for some reason CA considers them wild animals... oh well, but that way your gliders can be LEGALLY in the state.

I'm not currently miscellaneous but hope to be in the future: does anyone know how difficult it would be to get a permit to keep gliders in California? Also, my parents live there and my mother is absolutely in love with them.

They are not giving out permit at all. CA will not give you a permit period. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I am from PENNSYLVANIA.
I got my gliders on a two month trip and didn't know there was an issue w/PA. After I found out, I was bonded... And, of course, it was too late -- I have to have them!
I travel incognito + a few close friends and relatives have seen my 'sugar gliders.' A few not as close friends have seen a peculiar breed of gerbils: "Wow, I didn't know they had gerbils like that!" Well, since I 'invented' the breed, no one else knew about them, either. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

What pet stores in PA sell sugar gliders? I havent been havening any luck looking up pet stores on the interent as far as whether or not they have sugar gliders, i live near PA and would love to know where in PA i can get 2 sugar gliders. Thank for the help and happy new year!!!

Well i have been doing ALOT of reseach on sugar gliders and where they are legal and where they are not.

It IS legal to have sugar gliders in PA, you just have to have a permit to own them.

As long as you get a permit to have them then you can, you would also have to get another permit to be allowed to breed them.

I know there are some pet stores that have them and they have legal permits and can tell you how to get a legal permit to own the sugar gliders as pets.

Just a little info for everyones knowlegde, hope this helps out!!!
