The next set of No Sew instructions is ready now... it's the No Sew Mesh Shelf! I first saw this simple idea executed by Robin (our very own TnR) and thought - such a simple, yet fun, idea for our furry friends! Of course, Robin gave me permission to post it for ya'll I hope you all enjoy making them. Be warned though, the fuzzies fly around the room and might make you sneeze whilst your making it
Suz, thank you so much for posting all of these awesome ideas on this site. I tried making thing fleece ring and I didn't use enough fleece to go all the way around-but "Sugar" loves it anyway!!!

To get the Landware Cloth, you need to go the gardening department of your hardware store. It's by the Hardware Cloth... in fact, it is simply vinyl hardware cloth
For cleaning, you can hand wash the shelf in warm water. If you put it through the washer, just hang it to dry but don't put it through the dryer

I had a terrible time trying to find it......and no one in the store knew what it was. So I had to go home and look up the product number on their website (HomeDepot). I also had to call around to a few places because some of them didnt have it in stock. It was outside, with the garden stuff, by the fences. It was basically next to the chicken wire fences.

Suz- Thanks so much for taking the time to post these instructions. I tried the bridge and it came out pretty good (I'm not very crafty lol- so most things I try to make come out awful)So I think I'm going to give this one a try too!

I went to Lowes and Home Depot looking for some today. I knew that asking the kids in there about Landware wasn't going to work so I went to find the fence stuff and like you said it is with the chicken fencing. For a 3 x 15 it was about $13.00 plus tax here.

Wow! Thanks for the neat idea! I have a hex bird cage and haven't yet made that doodad to fit in the top center to hang goodies from, but I could make a bridge along the top so they can play up there, as well as hang a few goodies down from. You're the best!

Suz, I just wanted to thank you for taking your time to figure out all of the no sew items and then posting them for us. Such a selfless thing to do when I'm sure you have many other chores that need your attention. I haven' tried making anything yet, but I am going to after seeing this shelf. I have tons of fleece just sitting here waiting to do something with and also have the landware, so what am I waiting for? Thanks again for devoting your time to these projects!

Suz, Thank you so much for posting all of this stuff, I have made a couple of things from your site, The pouches turned out great, still trying to perfect the corner hammock though, it didn't turn out quite right, but i think that my 3-year-old didn't help much with that, lol. Anyways, thank you soooo much!

I make a variety of toys out of the plastic mesh and fleece and I find that the ones that are not covered in fleece like shelves, huts, tunnels etc wash well in the top rack of the dishwasher. I rinse them in plain water afterward just to make sure all the soap came out of the fleece and then pat with a towel and hang to dry.
They might be ok on the bottom rack but I am afraid the heating element would melt them.
Godspeed
Angel
