Well I get mine from Xfilefan (jen) hers are the best. There is a link around here some place to make them I just have no idea where it is now since the new board sorry. someone will know tho.
Aww. Cyndi...I'm so sorry-AnnaMoly8 is going thru the same thing with her guy from a vet made collar. Here's another reason the right collar is necessary for a cloacal SM...photo courtesy of Bourbon. And Anyone is welcome to PM if they need a collar-I make them now. I'm working on a website, but it's slow going, so for now, either PM or shadowdancers49@yahoo.com. I charge very close to cost for the collars (to cover materials) plus shipping.
Again, I'm so sorry for your baby!!

When my Mareki was in a collar recently for 3 weeks I didn't use Molefoam when I made it at first - I just used layers of Moleskin. I found out the hard way that the Molefoam is ESSENTIAL for proper padding around the neck! Her neck ended up chafed, but luckily I discovered it before it became a major problem. Switched to the Molefoam (per Jen's advice) and that helped a lot!!!
ok, what is the difference between moleskin and molefoam? i made my ecollar the other night from stuff that queenduck gave me...now i am a little worried it si the wrong stuff.....

OMG that poor baby Those e-collars can be some uncomfortable for the gliders as it is - I can't imagine how awful that must have been for the little one...
I also have to second the recommendation to get an e-collar from Jen. I've made my own - but her's are fantastic. The best thing you can do is order one (or two) and just keep them in your emergency kit. They are very inexpensive - especially considering the pain, heartache, and money that you may save having one available for those emergency situations. Trust me, if you ever were in the situation where you found your glider needed to be placed in a collar - the last thing you want to have to do is run to the store to get the supplies and make one. Much easier to just have it available and read up on how to put one on.

Just letting you all know Chewy is healing nicely. He needs some new hair but other than that he looks so much better. Now if you haven't get those ecollars in your first aid kits. You never know when you will need one.
