I have found a cpl of really nice poems for anyone who has lost a glider []http://www.sugarglider.net/ubb/images/icons/frown.gif[/]......
MY FOREVER FRIEND....
I know that it must be different,
now that i am no longer here.
I realize how much i was loved
and how all of you did care.
I know it will be hard at first
when you look around for me.
Expecting to find me in my pouch
or in my favorite tree.
Someday you will begin to see,
although itll take some time,
the happy times you shared with me,
the memories are yours and mine.
Ill remember you,my family,
and how much you meant to me.
So please dont grieve and dont be sad,
it was just my time to leave.

MEMBER OF THE FAMILY
bt poet:Hope Harrinton
What would i do without you.
My precious,furry friend?...
Part mischief,but all blessing,
And faithful to the end!
You look at me with eyes of love;
you never hold a grudge.....
You think im far to wonderful
to criticize or judge.
It seems your greatest joy in life
is being close to me....
I think God knew how comforting
your warm,soft fur would be.
I know you think your human,
But im glad it isnt true...
The world would be a nicer place
if folks were more like you!
A few short years are all we have;
One day we'll have to part...
But you,my pet,will always have
a place within my heart.
Thank you bmx girl. Those poems meant a lot. I lost one of mine the beginning of November due to hypoglycemia from a bad seizure and he died in my hands. []http://www.sugarglider.net/ubb/sad.gif[/] Those are nice poems. Thanks again....

Thank you so much Tessa...your post made me feel really good...ill be smileing all day:)!!
Talk about being thoughtful...you certainly are!!!
I was hoping these poems would help at least take a persons mind off of their loss and comfort them even if only for a moment, maybe help them focus on all the good memmories they have. Its so hard when we loose a "family member" (pet),its nice to know other people understand our pain and were not alone. :)
Thank you Tessa ...::::smiling from ear to ear:::::...
------------------
God Bless us all big and small....
bmxgirl(overprotective mother) & Mya™(the"baby",innocent and knowing) http://www.dreamwater.org/mya/page1.html
[This message has been edited by bmxgirl (edited 02-07-2001).]

Those poems were great!
I lost a glider in late December/ early January due to hind leg paralysis.
I was submitted to the hospital for a month and the glider sitter was not a very good one.
