Hi All! I just had a quick question... I've been feeding Sophie Mom's milk as often as I can, but also supplementing with Wombaroo milk mixed with water, like the package says too, of course. But I always think it's a little... well, watery. LoL. I think I am going to pick up a can of puppymilk or something, but I wondered, in the meantime, what do you think about mixing Wombaroo powder with real cow milk...?? Do you think it would hurt her? (Of course, I haven't done this yet, I just wanted to check some opinions on it first). Is cow milk bad for gliders in any way? Would it hurt a three week old joey? It's one percent, if that matters at all... Anyway, I just thought I would ask. And ThankYou for any and all opinions!

I would not use cow's milk. It sounds like bad news to me, however I don't know for sure why. When I was had raising my little girl, I mixed BML in with the wombaroo to make it thicker. After a while of this her poop was like water... I asked around on the forums and it was suggested by one great breeder that I switch from wombaroo to puppy milk replacer mixed with the bml. Within 12 hours her stool was back to normal and now I have a 3 month old sweetie! Of course, she was rejected, so this was her only food. She did not get any milk from mom.

I would have to say no no no....dont give a baby glider cows milk....would a baby cow drink glider milk??? (sorry just had to say that!!)
Actually milk even though diluted is still stronger than you think. I would say is sophie is three weeks old now she should be about ready to begin her journey with baby bml... please correct me if Im wrong.
ThankYou so Much, Peggy. I will be getting the ingredients to make up a batch of baby bml, probably tomorrow, and if not, definitely Wednesday. ThankYou for your help and advice. And I will most definitely keep you posted on my Sophie Girl...

We have had great success saving rejected joeys with the Baby BML. You may need to add a little water or apple juice to make it slightly thinner. Lots of people believe in adding the Wombaroo milk or Espilac puppy milk to the Baby BML, but we never do. Charlie H
Thanks Charlie!! I sincerely appreciate your added expertise. I should hopefully be able to get the ingredients for Baby BML by the end of the day.
Sophie is three and a half weeks old...Does anyone have any opinions on whether or not we're on track (size wise) by looking at her? Thanks for any and all replies!
