Are single Joeys normally larger than pairs, or am I just judging the oop date wrong? I've been going by the first day I saw it's head out. Mamma was hiding in the pouch a lot towards the end so it's hard to say. I just got done holding her for the first time!! She's aprox. 2"
without the tail.

I think single joeys tend to be larger because since they have more room in the pouch w/o having to share w/ another glider they tend to stay in longer making them older when they come out. Hope i answered your question!

Yes! Single joeys are larger than a twin would be. They don't have to compete with anyone for resources (milk, especially) so they grow far more quickly.

In many cases, you can figure the OOP date to be about a week prior to the date the little one opened his or her eyes.

You can also look at this question conversely, are triplets smaller in size or vary in size from their pouch mates? There have been a few triplets born on this board and in each case there was always a runt, so that being the case it can also be assumed that a greater abundance of milk would normalize their weight and thus an overabundance would increase it so much more.
