I am in desprit need of some suggestions on how to find a mia glider? I let both of my babys out to play on night and poof, jezzy was nowhere to be found. We looked everywhere she could have possibly gone but came up empty handed. Three days later, nothing. Can someone give me some advise on how to find a lost soul MIA? I am thinking positive on the matter but at the same time i am thinking the worst.

Hang Jezzy's pouch on the outside of the cage. If it is one that he has been sharing with the other glider, give the found glider a new one. He may be coming around the cage at night if he has access, make sure he has access to the pouch.

Ok, I have had one lost for 3 days, it's no fun for gliders or humans. If you have no clue what room she is in, put a pouch, food and water(small amount) in every room, then close the door. next day, see if you can find what room she is in, that will cut down on your searching. Of course, put up any danger items, water, chemicals, etc, in each and every room. Be careful where you sit, stand, etc. Set your alarm clock to about 3 am and then tip toe through the house in the dark, you may just have to sit in the dark and be quiet to hear her. We found our little girl on day 4, she had been living off crumbs in the kitchen, thankfully was no worse for the ware. Good luck and keep us posted.

I am 99.9% sure that she is in the house somewhere. I hope that she didn't disappear under the house someplace. I did put some food and a pouch to the opening where she could have gotten under the house. (we have a partial unfinished basement.) We will see if any good news arises tommorrow morning. The good thing is pez is taking it soooo well. I have been spending ten time more time with him to keep his spirits up. Let you know more in the morning.

The time I had a missing glider, I found him sleeping in the pocket of a shirt that was hanging in the closet. Be sure to check EVERY where, but especially dark and cozy spots.

Tonight, flip your circuit breakers off so the house is completely silent and listen for rustling.

Also be sure you don't take out any trash or anything else until you've looked through it very carefully.

Good luck!

Let us know how it goes.

Be especially careful with dirty clothes, don't put anything in the laundry without shaking it out well, especially yours, if she's the most bonded to you! She could be hiding in dirty clothes!

Still no luck with jezzy. I am givin it one more night before i give up hope. Hopefully she will return out of nowhere. Then she will be grounded for 1/2 her life. Just joking.

I just wanted to let everyone that helped my out with suggestion thanks a bunch. This is all pretty new to me still and to have the support from you all is wonderful. But on a sad note, we did find jezzabelle tonight. She is now in a better place. She was caught under the house and some way found her way into the cats domain and the cats got the best of her. All the while, i thought that the cats got along with them really well. I guess that they put on quit the show while around me. THE CATS MUST GO!!!!!!!!!! I just again, want to thank everybody for all of their help and love throught this time. It feels like we are all one big happy glider family. I just hope that pezz will get through this hard time with me too. At least jezzabelle is in a better place now.
