Yesterday I bought 2 run-about balls! And last night my boys tried them out for the first time. It was hilarious to watch them rolling through the house excited to smell and see everything. Dodger actually would follow me while Charger was more interested in Bonnie, (our bunny). What fun it is to see them safely explore and have such fun!

That's great!

Some gliders seem to enjoy them, some don't seem to care one way or the other, and some are terrified...sounds like yours were having a great time.

My gliders go absolutely NUTS!!! They sprint and jump and roll around all through the house. It is hilarious and a good wake-up call if you are asleep. They bang into the walls all the time... Sometimes, they also start running really fast and stop, and end up flipping over!!! I love watching them!!!

I've never tried these balls. I will have to purchase some and see if my guys like them. I bet it is a blast to watch them run around like that. I know I have fun watching my guys climb the curtains at play time. They probably like those balls as much as they like their wheels I bet.

Mine absolutely love them too!! However, when I first put them in there they just sat there, frozen solid in place. Not even thinking about moving anywhere!! It was kind of funny, so what I did was brought the ball into the tent with me so they could see what it was without having to be locked in it. Now they jump right on in as soon as they see it and varoooom they are gone!!! All over the place!!

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

so its ok to put gliders in run-about balls? I thought I had heard somewhere that they were bad for gliders, they could get their toes caught in the slits or something??? But if they're ok, that's awesome, I'll have to get one!

I've never had any other problems with them getting their toes or nails stuck. Mine move too quickly anyways!!! LOL

I had read that too and that's why I had never tried one before. It looks as if a lot of people use them without any problems. To be safe you should probably keep the gliders nails trimmed so that isn't a risk. I can't wait to have my gliders try one.

i think i read somewhere that a glider got its foot caught in a FERRET run around ball, but i'm not sure.

Anyways, sounds like your little ones are having tons of fun!
