we just bought a bigger cage for our baby girls and they love it. we also bought this piece of wood with a hole through the middle so they can climb through it. it screws to the cage like some other toys and the person at Herpeton said it was ok for them, but i wasnt sure if i should trust him. the girls are exploring and i noticed they like to eat or chew on it. is this ok? i know the wood is not cedar. what other woods can they not be around?

It worries me that they are chewing on it. I am thinking splinters and sharp edges. But then I am a worrier. lol

Suggies chew wood in the wild, so the chewing doesn't worry me, it's the type of wood that would be cause for concern. Any coniferous tree is toxic to a suggie - do you have a pic? Maybe we could help you identify it!

Saw it in a reptile pet shop

Twisty with some holes in it.

I carry it in my store as well. The first day it came in I brought some home for my gliders. grin

They love it, I just wish it came in larger pieces than it does.

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.
