I went to look at some gliders today from a lady that was
selling them for under 100$ and when I got there I was
shocked. She had four male gliders, seperated in pairs.
One of the pairs cage wasnt even a foot tall, they had no
toys, no food ( all they had were apples and almonds?) and
they only had one pouch that was really thin and covered in
trash like grass leaves.. ect. plus the gliders were living
in her cold garage, since it's winter here it's too cold in
there.
and I couldnt leave there without getting atleast one pair
because it's all my parents would let me have, so i got
the pair in the smaller cage and took the directly home.
I feed them first thing and they ate like theyve ever eaten
before. I just have a couple of questions of what I should
feed them to get them back to health quickly.
+ their nails. Their nails are extremly long and their
getting stuck on everything but they arent willing to let
me get close enough to cut them, and I worried for them
because I don't want them to get caught on anything and get
stuck. so does anyone have an opinions?
oops and one more thing. Does anydoby know any how you
can tell the age of sugar gliders, after they have reached
maturity?
+ if anybody lives near Orlando, Florida and wants to go
get the other gliders and put them in better homes just
tell me and I will send you the ladys email. I would take
them but I really can't right now.
