Can you tell me please if my two WF gliders are WF normals are WFB? WF Normals are listed as a color type but I've never seen a WF Normal listed as somones glider here on GC. My gliders were sold to me as WFB and I don't care either way if they are blondes or normals because I think they are beautiful either way but when I do breed them I want to be sure I'm selling them as the correct color. Also in both their pedigrees the WF's are listed as WFB and they go back pretty far. They just seem to look more like WF normals to me I guess. I don't know, the whole WF normal WFB has me confused I guess! LOL! Thanks!

I think for the most part they are called white faced gray, but most breeders sell them as WFB but i really don't understand the difference. I have had different people tell me that my three are WFG and WFB, so i'm not sure

A lot of breeders call all white faced gliders white faced blondes, even though the WF pattern appears with many different colors. Your gliders look like WF grays to me. WFB's are blonde in color, no gray... Out of the WF gliders I have only 1 is a true WFB. There are also WF champagnes, cinnamons, platinums, etc.

I think they're adorable, no matter what color they are!! smile

I was told that a little girl I have is a WFB, and she's quite a bit different in coloring than the boys. I can't seem to get a good picture of her, but here's the best I can do of her with her mate. To be honest though, she may be a white faced "something else", I just don't know enough about the colors to tell you for sure. But if you go searching online you can see a lot of grays and can compare them to your babies.

Still so confused! It does seem like most breeders just call all WF that are WF normal/grey or WFB just WFB's. I haven't seen anyone mention a WF glider that is a WF normal...they are always referred to as WFB. I guess I'll just call them WF's.
Thank you all for the kind comments about my babies! I'm pretty proud of them and can't wait to see what babies they have! They are such sweeties too. All of you have beautiful gliders too. I'l have to agree that all white faces I've seen are just beautiful!

Yeah, WFB is just kind of used as a general term for any glider lacking a black bar under its ear... There needs to be like a universal standard for color variations. All in due time, I'm sure.

DW They look to be WF not WFB from the pics but again it is not definite as the color may vary from the monitor to the actual glider. WFB are really just that they have a white face and their head is not normal gray it is a blond color. When you see a true blond you will know it. To me the blond is sometimes as hard to see in pics as a lion is. Colors are very difficult because they do vary and many gliders are easily mislabeled as this or that...it is so confusing at times!
Good looking gliders everyone!

Speaking as Sriker's first parents, I called him a WFB because he is so much lighter in color than a normal or grey. He also has some golden or blond highlights that may be harder to see from pictures. And he showed a light cream color in his face.

Here are some younger pictures of him and a picture of his father. I think if you compare these with the pictures on http://www.toandfrogliders.com/FileHierarchy/MeetTheFamily/Color%20Variations.htm you can see the simalarity to the WFB, where the WFG is much darker.

Looking at the different pics and on a better PC with better graphics - striker looks like a WFB but Sofie although pretty looks like a WF Gray especially the pics of him as a joey he has the yellowing to him.
