I woke up about 2 hrs ago and as normal walked into the bathroom. I found something in the toilet floating which I thought was a piece of wood, thinking that my ceiling started caving in or something. Unfortunatly I was very wrong. VERY VERY WRONG. It was my youngest glider Kiki. She was barely 8 months old. My first though was that I left the cage open, so I ran over to the cage to see, and it as perfectly fine, and tightly closed. The other glider was still there. The bars are only a half an inch apart so there is no was she squeezed bye. All I can think of is that she figured out how to open the little doors that are made for easy food dish attachment. I am so confused, so sad, and i miss my Kiki.

I'm so sorry. So many terrible toilet accidents happen. May Kiki rest in peace and your heart heal.

We're so sorry to read about little Kiki. She's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge, playing and gliding with all the other babies now.

I am so sorry. You are in my thoughts. I would tie down those doors so your other glider doesn't figure them out as well. Gliders do figure those out pretty regularly. Just use a zip tie to tie them shut. Again I am sorry for your loss.

Awww...I'm sooo sorry. I'm always so scared that I'll wake up to find one of them in the toilet. I make sure that the cage is closed everynight....and that's pretty easy too as the cage is in my room.
