A while back i made a post about one of my gliders waking up and one of his eyes was kinda shut a little, but everyone said that can be normal when you first wake them up. Well, i went to wake up the same one this afternoon when i got home from work. I usually check on them right before and immediately when i walk in the door. And when i opened his pouch to look in, both of his eyes seemed crusted almost shut. I couldnt see any gunk in his eyes, but it was like the were somewhat glues shut, like a human when you wake up in the morning and you have sand in your eyes. It didnt seem to hurt him because he let me touch his face and check it out, and within 5 minutes it went away and his eyes were fine.. I dont see any goo or cloudyness in his eyes and nothing abnormal now. I just want to know if this is just something that happens sometimes or should i be worried and make a vet appt. I know their eyes are very fragile.

I've never had this happen with my guys, but then I may just have "woke" them up after they took a bath also on days when it might have. So in this case I'm going to say when in doubt, call the vet & talk to them. If nothing else it would re-assure you.

Both of my gliders always have that sleepy look where their eyes are not open all the way when they first wake up. It usually goes away after a few minutes so I wouldn't worry too much- I can't blame you though, I am so paranoid.

its not nessesarily a sleepy look.. there is what looks like dried tears that keep the eyes closed until he wakes up a little more and cleans himself..

Crusty eyes can be a sign of a respitory infection - just like we humans get. I would say a vet trip is in order.
