Well, I had planned on building a cage for my gliders, but it turns out I'm not going to have the time . My mom is actually the one that pointed out to me that I'm never home and building the cage would be nearly impossible. Ooooh well. She has offered to help me pay for a cage (and put me on a payment plan to pay her back... Bank Mom hehe), so I think I've decided on this one- http://sugarglider.safeshopper.com/70/217.htm?298 . (Actually, my mom decided on that one because she thinks it's "pretty" ). I like it better than most bird cages because it has a wire top UNDER the roof to hang things off of. Also, it has four doors. The only downside I can see is that it doesn't come with shelves, but I can take care of that . Does anyone have this cage? If so, what do you think of it? Even if you don't have this cage do you think it's a good cage for two gliders? Thanks for your input . Also, I've been ordering TONS of stuff for my babies from many vendors on the board. I'd like to thank Karin from Glider Daydreams, Calle Jean, Sheila from To and Fro, Alicia from Sweet and Sour Gliders, and Lisa from Suncoast (who I know isn't on the board but I'll thank her anyway). You guys have the BEST stuff. Everyone has shipped everything so quickly. All of the pouches, supplements, and toys are SO great and are exactly what I want. Thanks so much for everything ! Anyway, I apologize for the long post, but I wanted to give credit where credit is due .

If you would like to order a cage you can order a MUCH larger and MUCH nicer cage for the amount that one is at K&D Exotics I would suggest you take a look at these before ordering the other. Just a suggestion.

Just so you know Lisa pops in now and again. I'm not sure if she posts, I think she's mainly reading. She's Viva la Glider. Congrats on that cage it looks nice. Your cage is actually bigger than ours in height but smaller in length. So I'd say you could put two gliders in there comfortably. But I could be wrong. Maybe someone who can give you a definite yes or no will come along.

I know. I've looked at their cages, but my mom is concerned about how the cage looks. I really don't care, but she's the boss .

Oh, and I meant to add that I have a space issue as it is, so I can't go much larger than that.
And I had no idea Lisa had a username. I've spoken to her on the phone and we talked about GC, but she didn't mention she posts. Hmmm well I hope she sees my post then!

Thank you Tracie, that was so nice of you to post! It's soooo nice to hear feedback from customers . The cage you are looking at is very nice looking, but I sorta have to agree about a K & D cage. They are just superior cages for the money. But you're a great daughter, Mom is the boss .

Thank you Tracie, so nice to hear thankful words. The cage your looking at is great, one thing not to forget is that you'll have to clean it. Think about where it is going to be placed in the house, where your going to clean it, etc. I bought one huge cage, and love it, but boy oh boy is it ever a pain to clean. Now I think of those things ahead of time. As for K&D, everyone here is right, they have great stuff, large variety, and are both super sweet and will work well with you.
Since you've been buying so much stuff, you better make sure you have a good digital camera, I have a feeling you'll be taking and posting a lot of pictures of your new babies. LOL

This cage is only 18" deep, so I should be able to reach the back pretty easily. I also love that it's on casters so I can move it around wherever I want.
Oh, don't worry- I have a digital camera with a HUGE memory card so I can take lots of pictures I can't wait to get my babies. You guys will probably get sick of me posting pictures of every single thing they do!
Hey, Lisa!

I haven't read your replies thus far, but I don't really like the cage you've picked. Here's why: the bars are like prison bars as opposed to a grid. You can get a pre-cut cage from Klubertanz.com for $115. This isn't a fancy cage but it is 2X2X5. This is adequate, and the grid is 1/2 X 1" This is better because gliders jump and climb. When they have 'prison bar' type cages, they jump and slide down. I've had a lot of 'prison bar' type cages, and only advocate a grid type. Again, the company I buy from has a great cage at a great price. I don't have any affiliation with Klubertanz, but I love their cages with the pull out trays. BTW, I use zip ties to assemble my cages these days. HTH
