Okay, so Blue is only SIX WEEKS old, and he's had a bald spot for a week already. How in the world can this be? lol. I've had nine joeys in the house, and none of my previous boys developed THAT quickly. Do you think he's okay and all? I'm certain on his oop date cause I watch them like hawks and write it down immediately, so I know his age to the day, I'm just shocked to see his little joey sized head with a bald spot already. lol. ANYway... Luv Ames!

Maybe his pops is rubbing his head on his chest and maybe that's what is causing it?
Some of my males enthusiastically mark their kids whenever I bring them back home. They'll grab their little heads and scrub their chest scent glands with the joeys head
I've never seen it cause a bald spot but I'd imagine that it could happen.

Hmm. Now that is fascinating to think about BigErn, and ThankYou for you reply. I definitely agree that this sort of thing goes on. My poor Morgan can smell to high heaven cause his Daddy Bailey marks him CONstantly. But I've never seen Blue's Daddy (Azure) do this. But I just can't tell you what it is. lol. It's not an oily mark or anything, and it's not rubbed bare... it's just a faint little bald spot like his natural one was already coming in, though I can't imagine how, or why. lol. ANYway, thank you thank you for trying to help me get to the bottom of it. Luv Ames...

it's blurry, cause to show the bald spot well, I had to wash it out a little bit, lol... but I thought I'd add a picture of Little Boy Blue's bald noggin for visual aid. Luv Ames!

I did have one that had a clear bald spot at 8 weeks, so I guess this is possible. He must be maturing early. Got an eye on a girl already? Who knows. He looks and sounds healthy, I wouldn't worry about it. He's yet another cutie Amy.

Isn't that something? lol. Crazy is Right. lol. He most definitely IS healthy...and adorable, and the sweetest baby EVER, and somehow, he always smells like fresh clean laundry. No joke. lol. I'd keep him if I had the space. lol.
ANYway, I don't know what's up with that spot, he's in the same room with Ladies, but the only one close to him is his Mamma, lol, so I don't know... I guess he's just special. lol.
Thanks so Much for your replies and reasurrances guys... Luv Ames...

I've had a couple males joeys get bald spots this early. I was totally shocked when it happened as well. It's so weird how some can develop so much earlier than others. He's a doll.
