Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance

I would suggest a visit to the vet just to be safe. I know Pink Eye is highly communicable among humans, though not sure how transmissible it is between us & the furries. I DO know that your glider's eyes should "always be clear, & bright with no discharge", so I'd be on my way to the vet.

Well, many bacterial pinkeye bugs (#1 Hemoplilus Influenzae, #2 Staph Epidermidis, & others) is definitely something that could go to any species, it just wants to grow where good culture media exists. Hopefully we are careful enough not to get a good innoculum of bugs in the pets eyes if we have pinkeye. Use good hand washing, avoidance, etc.

Some viral micro-organisms are pickier about what species they frequent. Dirt and allergies can also make an eye matter up. Often without knowing the exact offender, it is easy and safe to just cover the potential infection with an antibiotic eye drop. sounds like your veterinarian is on top of it.

I was doing some research about the pink eye issue, as I was the one who had it, and I found this site. scroll all the way down, and it says something about conjunctivitis.

I think I found out why phoenix's eye was doing this. I put her in a new fleese pouch and when I got her out her eye had more stuff. So I washed it and put her in again and she was fine. So I put her in a nother new one and it happend again. I talked to her vet and said this and it sounds like I found what was bugging her.
