I just got a catalog in the mail and while looking through it I saw what looks like the hanging organizer from IKEA that was causing such a stir here a few months ago. I couldn't belive the price 3 for 9.98. they come all three white or a black, red and white combo. The catalog is Lillian Vernon and teh website is www.lillianvernon.com item number for the white set 022246 410, the variety 022116 410 "3 Mesh Hanging Organizers"
11 7/8" dia, 66 " long. I already ordered 2 green ones from Ikea because that was the only color they would let me order over the computer. So this looks like it would be a great option for those who are not near an Ikea store. cheaper too. I just had to pass this along.

Hey-
I wasnt here a few month ago. WWas it said that these would be good for gliders to play in or store their supplies in? I would think that their claws could get cause on that mesh but (seeing as how I dont have my glider yet) I could be mistaken

I actually got two from Ikea a few months ago. You are correct they can catch their toenails in the mesh. I only allow my gliders to play with theirs when I am in the room with them. It is over 5 feet high so it is definately an out of cage toy. But what I paid for one I could have bought three

I have feathers in one compartment, ping pong balls in another, and pom poms in another and my gliders go from one to the other and play with everything. I also only let them play with it when I am with them, which I always am for out of cage time anyway.

I just saw them at walmart in the houseware section the other day, just like th IKEA ones, but for like $10 and they came in many primary colors.

I haven't seen them into walmart. But then not all walmarts carry the same items. I found that out when I was looking for a storage item that is a plastic grid, set of storage shelves that hanges from the closet rod. I put one in each of the glider rooms for them to play on. We just set it on the floor, didn't hang it. They have a ball on them. They can climb it and fit through the holes, they also like to chew on them. LOL

Go to the pet section of Wallmart and look at all the cheep cat toys...get them jingley balls . Then go to the craft section. But feathers and pom pom puffy balls. Im sure you can find a few more things. Go to toy section and get monkeys in a barrell and a stuffed animal. Then go to the Baby section and took around at the 99 cent-1.50 toys get some of those. For around $10-15 dollars you could fill tht booger up!

I wish they would have been $4.99 when I went and bought all those in the springtime at IKEA . I hope they are just lowering the price, and not discontinuing them. They are a great addition to a playroom.

[:"magenta"]yes, but they are expensive. not expensive to buy the organizer...expensive to buy all the little toys to put in the compartments! [/]
