Hello everyone. I will be getting a new pair of gliders, my first, tomorrow. The gliders are coming from Suncoast Sugar Sliders in Florida so they are already on the suncoast diet. If anyone else has their gliders on this diet as well could you please post a few examples of an average menu you provide for your gliders based on this diet. I am really just looking for examples from this diet since that is what they will most likely be used to, but any other input that might be beneficial to me would be appreciated. Thanks for your help!!

My 2 boys came from Suncoast. I found an example of what Lisa feeds on a weekly basis in one of the newsletters and strictly followed it. I used the glider cubes for their vitamins and they loved them! I wish I knew how to do links. If you can't find it let me know and I will look it up. The only reason I switched from this diet was because our new glider doesn't like Zookeepers.

I was wondering if any of you who do the Suncoast diet use the Wombaroo milk supplement with the vitamins and calcium supplements on the food. I do not and mine eat it ok, any one have a problem without using it?

I do use the wombaroo occasionally. They don't really like the calcium so I mix it together and they eat it all up! I only use that when I sprinkle it on their food. I either sprinkle, mix it in with yogurt, give them a treat cube, or give them their fruit slushie which already has it mixed in.

I feed all of my gliders the SunCoast diet. All of them like the diet very much (including the ZooKeeper's Secret). Each night they get mealworms (10-12 small, 7-10 medium, or 3-5 large per glider), fruit or vegetable, and the zookeeper's secret + the vitamins. Last night I gave them carrots, but they have also been getting apple and green beans. I usually keep the same thing for a couple nights but will switch without worry. This newsletter has a list on calcium/phosphorus ratios and is a very good reference. http://www.sugar-gliders.com/glidervet-60.htmRhapsody - You really shouldn't use the Leadbeater's mix with the SunCoast diet, it can throw off the nutritional value.

If you read what I said more closely you will see that I stated: LedBeaters Mix (or) ZooKeepers Secret OR - being the main word in that sentence, meaning one or the other, but not both.
