The best thing I ever purchased for my gliders was a wheel. They have other toys, but always come back to the wheel. Paco gets it going really fast and then just rides it around. If Lupe' happens to be in there, she gets a ride too. Make sure you get one that is glider safe. I think they are called wodent wheels and if you check around on this site, someone is probably selling them. I know others suggest feathers or pom poms. Usually if a toy is safe for a baby, its safe for a glider.

Except for Monster, mine all love anything with manzanita on it! they climb, swing, chew, etc... It's their favorite place to be. And they make everything out of it: Swings, perches, ladders, etc...

visit a local thrift store and you can find lots of toys for cheap. mine like fisher price houses and stuff.

bird toys usually go over well too.

mine like to climb ladders. they have like 10 of them ranging from one foot to 5 ft...

mine love anything with beads.

also consider purchasing a fake ficus tree. mine love hanging out in theirs.

May I also suggest that you go to glider things and look through our vendors?
They make some wonderful toys that are safe and our gliders love them.
I just got a whole Box of things from Glider Daydreams (she is running a christmas special right now) and man have they had a blast with them!! (I'll attach the pic for you here too!)

Good luck!

When looking at fake foliage, here's what you want to check for:

-make sure the dye does not bleed. Get your finger wet (with spit, sprite, whatever) and rub it on one of the leaves. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> If the color bleeds, you don't want that one.
-make sure there are no wires or sharp points
-make sure there aren't any teeny tiny pieces that would easily fall off.

I found some flower 'vines' that my babies love. I just took all the flowers off so they couldn't take them off and choke on them. Also, Monster made me some strips of fleece that she cut to be fluffy and they LOVE climbing up and down. I need to post some pics!

I bought a remnant of fleece at wal mart for less than $5. Cut it into strips about 1" wide and I braided it to make a rope. They like to climb. i suppose fabric is easy to grip.

the PARROT toys, the baby rings (I string those all over and they love them), I also put a box on the bottom of the cage and fill it with stuff (they play in that box every night), the wheel is their favorite.
