Hello, I`m new here. I`m from Germany. There the Sugar Gliders are a very exotical pet. You can`t find a lot of information. I would like to know, how your cages look like, so that I have an idea how to build a cage. Maybe someone likes to show me his or her cage. That would be very nice
bye, sandugo

Hi welcome. Always great to see international glider owners here. Here is a link to many many cages that people have built or decorated. Have fun. http://www.sugarglider.net/gallery/cages

hello, oh thank you, i`ve not yet seen it. I haven`t got any Glinders yet, but í`m very interessted. The problem is, that you can find in Germany not many information about Gliders. But I still have a question: Does anybody know if there is a store where you can buy glider stuff ( toys, pouches, etc) and ship that to germany and is not so expensive? We haven`t got a shop. Thanx a lot

Shipments from the US to Germany is pretty expensive. Many toys and such you can make yourself as well as pouches if you sew. Human baby toys make great glider toys. Also bird toys and cat toys but NO CATNIP! Catnip is toxic to gliders. Most things with bells are fun but make sure there is nothing that the glider can get their toe nails/toes caught in. Another suggestion is if you have any US Military friends stationed in Germany, you might be able to get things shipped to their APO address, then there wouldn't be the international postal charges.

In addition to all of the above I use empty toilet rolls, paper towels rolls, Kleenex boxes, water bottle caps,Plastic links, little stuffed animals. You can easily make fleece ropes, bedding, & toys. I have a 2*2*36. With her wheel and toys she definately needs a bigger cage. Tomorrow I have one that will be 30*30*72. Are there many gliders for sale in Germany? How much in US money? Have a great day/night.

Hello Hazyl, no, it ist very hard to receive a Sugar Glider here. It`s nearly impossible to receive them in pet shops. Only from private people. I only know the Euro prices from 50 up to 130 Euro. Bye, sandugo
