Hey, anyone know how to attach stuff to a reptarium. I am trying to give Mia somewhere to play when I can't let her run around my room. I don't have any ideas about how to do it.

What size are you using? I was just curious. I just got a 260 gal. myself. I figured on using cable ties/ zip ties to attach items to. Across the top I was going to use fleece material to weave back & forth and hang items from it also.
Let me know what ideas you come up with. All ideas are good to know.

Has anyone came up with good ways to attach pouches and play things to their reptarium? I got the 260 gal. for my gliders to live in until I can build a bigger home for them but I am completely stumped on how to get their stuff hung in there. I just put their older, smaller cage inside the reptarium with all the doors open and top off to let them get used to the new place and still have their safe place to go to but now I would like to take the old cage out, hang their stuff up and let them get really settled in.

I use shower curtain rings linked in a chain across the middle. You can hang most little clips from the rings. as for water bottle, you get one with a little tab at the top with a hole in it, attach a clip, and hang like everything else. As for food dish, I set it on a free-standing wire shelf that I got from Home Depot; the kind usually used for 'extra shelf space' in the kitchen cupboards or a closet. HTH

I also use the plastic shower curtains rings along with the baby links. I used a wire closet corner unit in mine which I set the glider kitchen on. Inside the glider kitchen I have a small bowl of water also. I can also have things from the shelving unit. I also hang all their pouches and wheels in there also.

I have a 260g Rep. I used shower curtain rings attached to the PVC, and then strung plastic chain everywhere to hook stuff on. I have water and food in my glider kitchen on the floor. Here is a pic if it helps! If you need chain, let me know, i have a lot right now, a rarity. lol.

I must say that is one of the best looking repts I've ever seen! Your's and Rischa's repts have inspired me in decorating mine. It's primarily for travel, but I still want to do some fun stuff with it Thanks for sharing!

This is off topic, but you guys seem to know about reptariums.
Do reptariums set up and break down easily? I am thinking of buying a smaller one for travel. I have to go out of town a few times this spring and need to take the gliders with me. I am looking for something that will breakdown flat and set up easily. Do you guys think a reptarium will work?

A lot of people use them for traveling and like them. They are fast to set up and take apart. However, for us, i want something that folds flat and already has all their toys in it and ready to go. So we went with a fold up soft-sided pet taxi. I found them at Big Lots, for the medium size it was $39, and for the large it was $49. I have been very happy with them. If you have a chewer though, i dont recomend either. You might want to get a smaller parrot or PVC coated cage. The Reptariums are easier to wash than our foldable pet taxi's, but we just spray them down with a water/detergent mix and hose out as the outer cover does not zip off the frame. Its been working for us!

Good Luck!
Kayla

I used to use large keyrings and mini bungee cords to attach things in my reptarium. I just ordered another one for traveling and I'm going to test out some springless safety pins I have in that...
