during winter, it often breaks down to well below 0 degrees.
I'm sure, for the sugar glider enthusiast, the ideal places to live would be the Arizona or Texas regions that don't aquire snow.
My question is what is the easiest and most efficient way of cleaning cages (for those of you who live in colder areas during winter time.)
The following were my thoughts and problems:

-bringing cages to be cleaned at car washes.
but what if there are too many cages? What if the car wash is too far away? what if you cant drive? etc etc...for me, it's that I have too many cages, a small car, and the closest car wash to me is 4 miles away.

-wiping down the cages.
my chiropractor doesn't like this idea one bit, lol.
I have too many cages, it takes too long, and it's too straining on my neck and back.

-here is a new idea I thought of.
Why not have an "inside hose" that is kept inside, then durnig winter, take it outside, hook it up, power wash the cages, then unhook it and bring it inside.
Besides the fact that hoses are probably impossible to find during this time of year, what do you think about this idea? Opinions? I had never heard this being done before so wanted to check and make sure what anyone else does during the cold seasons and cleaning cages.

Put the cage in the bath tub and use a sprayer hose from the bath tub.

Many people also use steamers! That way you dont have to take your cage outdoors.

[:"purple"] I just scrub my cage.. its too big to fit out the door anyways because it was built in the room it stands.

Although now I am thinking and it would be really neat if we had a drain in the sugar glider room and could just take a hose and walk in and spray the place down... but, that would have to be a house that is built from scratch because I highly doubt that most houses come with a drain in the floor. hmmm.... *writes that down*.. one day I plan on having a house built with a special room for them.... I may just have to ask about getting that put in there... [/]
