My glider has some of her claws missing on all 4 legs and just has nubs instead. 1 paw has no claws. I'm afraid to use the nail trimmer insert, because I don't want to wear her skin off. Any ideas? Do I just clip them?

I agree-they use those nubs to grip with-now, they don't grip well, like to fabrics, but they grip. My Chronos was missing about half of all his nails, and had one front hand with nothing but nubs-it was a strong little hand though! Especially on the wheel (which he loved). I always hand trimmed his nails (especially since his back ones were deformed and needed special treatment). Those nubs will be worn raw if they can come into contact with the sandpaper through the grid they run on, and any broken skin opens a window for infection as well.
