Okay, So if you take your glider in your bathroom to try and bond with them, please look under your sink to make sure there isn't a space at all, the other day i was at a friends with Lilo and she decided she was going to run around the bathroom, well she gets to the sink and theres a slit about a inch big just enough to slip through, so she does, i sat there for over an hour and half trying to coax her out when finally she came out, so please everyone make sure there are no holes or slits in your bathroom especially the gliders that WILL find something that is NOT glider proofed!

Oh my word! I bet that scared the poop out of you!
Glad to hear she came back out safe and sound.

Very good warning!
I also found 'holes' under the edge of the cabinets. Oh! Which reminds me... may want to check the boards that run underneath the cabinets (on the outside at the bottom), sometimes the boards are quite flimsy depending on the cabinet. One time I had Mya in the bathroom with me and she found a loose board and I caught her trying to pull the board out...she had it pulled out enough that she was slipping her head through right as I grabbed her! So, I went around and screwed the boards down tight.
(may also want to check around the toilet too... sometimes there are little holes around there that one might squeeze through. )

it scared both me and AngieH, she's done this before but some how managed to get inside of my PRINTER, it scared Angie more then it did me but I was about to start going crazy bc she stayed under there so long and i felt so bad, and she got so dirty so when i got home i got some qtips and warm water and rubbed her head with them and she clicked a little bit, but now i have a tent and as soon as i can figure out how to put it together i'll start the tent time lol, i'm not a camper type person

mine love the printer... at least chip does. we even close the thing up and he squeezes in through a tiny crack underneath. he thinks it's his nest or something.

so we unplug it when he comes out of the suggie room. we have considered buying an old printer and gutting it for chip. we decided he's a nerd like my husband.

Thank god she came out! I was about to have my hubby remove the bottom of the cabinet. I have never noticed that area before. We taped up around the pipes under the sink and around the toliet. I felt so bad, I was asking Rena if she wanted a pillow and blanket, lol. I am just so happy she came out. My hubby is going to fix this so we don't have to worry any more.

Yes, the gaps on the bottom of cabinets! I almost lost a glider several years ago that way. They run right back into the wall in my bathrooms and who knows where that could have lead the glider! I would've never been able to retrieve her! I now stuff the wholes with thick fabric and tape them over with metallic duct tape! It's amazing where gliders will find holes to fit in!

I took my new pair into the bathroom tonight and my female did the same thing. Instead of trying to get her out I put the male back in the cage and turned off the lights in the bathroom. Checked in a few minutes later and she had actually come out! I didn't think she was going to come out that easy, Phew!!

I hate to admit this story because it happened so long ago, but after I had gotten my first glider I was letting him run around on a table. There was an old VCR on the table and I didn't think anything of it until he climbed into the tape slot and wouldn't come out!! I was petrified! I had to unscrew the top to get him out. Poor little guy
